As a professional New York City Bar Mitzvah photographer and Bat Mitzvah photographer, I recognize it’s a big moment in the life of a family when a child comes of age, and fully understanding Jewish culture is more than important – it is essential. I prepared for my own bat Mitzvah as a teen, and ultimately completed the ceremony in Israel at the age of 18.
