Jack and Dennis met in June of 1991 at the Pride Festival on the old Broadway Play Field where they were introduced by mutual friends. They have considered themselves married since February of 1992 when they made a commitment to each other, but were glad to make it legal with the help of family, friends, the people of Washington State, and the Supreme Court.
