Kevin & Rich met in mid-2007 at the Three Dollar Bill Cinema offices where both Kevin and Rich were volunteering. Kevin’s interest was piqued when he overheard Rich speaking fluent Hebrew to a friend on the phone. They talked a bit more online and had their first date soon thereafter at a backyard barbecue. After that, they started seeing each other regularly and within a few months Kevin proposed the idea of becoming a couple. In the years that followed they traveled together to do some sightseeing and experience more of the world.
When they decided to get married they set the date for their 7th anniversary of being together and chose to have the ceremony and celebration at their private residence. Something unique about Kevin & Rich’s wedding is they made the request that guests not buy them gifts. Instead they encouraged guests to donate to one of two charities that they feel most passionate about including Freedom to Marry & Three Dollar Bill Cinema.
