Finally a weekend that allowed me to go and photograph Burning Beast. What a great event and a fundraiser for the Rubicon Foundation. Burning Beast was started by Chef Tamara Murphy of Terra Plata Restaurant. Seattle’s best chef’s come together to cook, showcase and prepare different kinds of meats. This event promotes sustainability, creativity and a love for food. If you are lucky enough to get a ticket to attend, I can tell you it is worth the experience and drive up to beautiful Smoke Farm. The winner of the best recipe was Matthew Lewis of Restaurant Roux and the Where Ya at Matt food truck. His Arctic Char served on a homemade potato chip with a roasted lemon aioli was amazing.
