The Seattle Jewish Film Festival took place in early April. Here are some images from three of the events I photographed. Opening night always is a huge success with a happy hour and dessert buffet by Tom Douglas. The first film shown was Natalie Portman’s directoral debut “A Tale of Love and Darkness”. Awards were given out to Deborah Rosen and director Aviva Kempner who directed the amazing film “Rosenwald” a must see for everyone. Also shown was mouthwatering documentary “In Search of Israeli Cuisine” with guest chef Michael Solomonov. His cookbook Zahav received a James Beard Award a week later. He was there to meet everyone and sign his cookbook.
