Ukranian Christmas Celebration

Do you know about the traditions of Ukranian Christmas? It is around the same time as Christmas and it was always cold.  It was mostly a celebration about the amazing food. Little fresh vegetables were around in the cold weather so root vegetables, meats, dairy and bread were consumed. My longtime clients had me come by to photograph their celebration in January. What I learned was that the food is exactly the same of the Eastern European Jews. My family used to make some of the same things. Borscht, stuffed cabbage and lots of bread products.
