Diane and Merle were legally married after 40 years together. Yes, you heard me! 40 YEARS! Diane and Merle met in college and have been together ever since. Their wedding was an incredible day filled with family and friends who love them as well as their beautiful daughter Sonya. Grieg Garden was the perfect setting for an intimate outdoor ceremony performed by Rabbi Anson Laytner. The reception was moved indoors to the University of Washington Club. Diane wore a very special Chinese jacket that had been given to her mother on her 90th birthday. Merle’s outfit came from Chico’s. They incorporated Diane’s Chinese culture as well as customs of Merle’s Jewish heritage during the ceremony. It was a beautiful day!
