David and Gary met through Yahoo! Personals. Gary sent David an email on Sunday, March 12, 2006 to meet for coffee or dinner. David replied immediately to set up a date. David didn’t hear back from Gary right away so he thought maybe Gary changed his mind. Then on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 Gary finally sent David a reply apologizing that he didn’t know that David had replied as he just had found his email. (Gary didn’t realize that the Yahoo! Personals email was stored separate from the regular Yahoo! email). Gary gave David his phone number so David called him and they had a great conversation and a connection immediately. They set up a dinner date for Saturday, March 18, 2006. Gary came over to pick up David and when they first met at David’s door it was love at first sight. David invited him into his apartment and later found out from Gary that this first meeting was for him, at long last like coming home. They moved in five weeks later and never looked back. All of their friends thought they were crazy for moving in together so soon but they both knew that they had met at the right place at the right time.
Gary proposed to David in December 2006 and then they had to wait for Washington state and the Federal government to catch up with their plan. Their relationship can be categorized as a car with two gas peddles and no brakes as they zoom through life together.
Their wedding and reception were held at Magnolia United Church of Christ. They had a smaller more intimate after reception that was held on a Waterways Cruise. It was an amazing day!

Lee AnnOh, so beautiful! I am particularly heartened by these pictures, not only because two people who truly love each other were finally able to marry, but that there are so many older people in these pictures, that are celebrating this union with nothing but love and happiness!
I wish the two of you all the best, and hope your union is as happy as this event obviously was.
Oh, and btw, you two make a VERY cute couple!
